Registration is open to all persons interested in the Superannuation Lawyers Conference 2026.

All persons attending the conference must complete an online registration form. Please read the below information before you complete the form.

Terms and Conditions

Name badge

Each delegate will receive a name badge when they arrive at the registration desk onsite. The badge will be your official pass to obtain entry to all sessions and social function/s. You are responsible for having your badge with you at all times and it must be clearly visible to obtain entry to the sessions.

Program Changes

Any representations made by the LCA, or information provided by the LCA in respect of an event is current and accurate to best of the LCA’s knowledge, at the time that the representation is made, or information provided. To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, the LCA does not make any representations or warranties as to the accuracy

or completeness of the information.

The LCA reserves the right to make any reasonably necessary changes to the program, including substituting speakers and topics, or modifying or altering any aspect of the conference timetabling and delivery at the LCA’s discretion and without notice. 

Recording of images

The Conference Managers LCA reserves the right to use any recordings, whether audio or video and/or any photographs,

taken at any stage during the conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the conference and/or its the content,

at their sole the LCA’s discretion.

Payment Options

Credit/Debit card

Accepted credit/debit cards are Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Credit/debit card transaction fees will be paid by the

registrant in addition to the registration fees.

Other payment options

Alternative payment method is electronic fund transfer.

Invoices have a payment term of 14 days from the date of issue. 

Full payment of invoices must be settled prior to the event. 

Registrations received within 14 days of the commencement of the event need to be settled within 24 hours or prior to the event, whichever is sooner. 

Failure to make payment as required may result in cancellation of registration.

Cancellations and Refunds

If a registered attendee cancels or does not attend the LCA event other than for a reason that relates to the Non-excludable Consumer Obligations, for example where the registered attendee cancels or does not attend due to a change in the registered attendee's own circumstances, the following policy applies;

Cancellations must be notified to superconference@lawcouncil.au

For cancellations up to and including 9 March 2026, a full refund of the registration fee will be provided.

Cancellations from 10 March 2026 up to and including 17 March 2026 will be refunded 50% of the registration fee.

Cancellations on or after 18 March 2026 will not be entitled to any refunds.

Substitutions are available at any time before your attendance at the conference starts. 

For delegates booked at the Crowne: 

Check-in is from 3.00pm and check-out is by 11.00am. A valid credit card is required to guarantee bookings and cover incidental charges.

Cancellations made on or after 23 February 2026 may incur charges of up to 100% of the accommodation cost, in line with the hotel’s cancellation policy. Changes to bookings are subject to availability and hotel confirmation.

For delegates booked at other hotels, you should confirm the cancellation policy with the hotel.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

It is the responsibility of the individual member to determine whether CPD points can be earned for an attendance of an

event hosted by the sections of the LCA, as the mandatory CPD requirements vary between each State and Territory. Please refer to your relevant State and Territory Law Society in advance of the event for further information. 

Travel Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the event and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include:

  • Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the event or through the cancellation of the event,
  • Loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason,
  • Loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia,
  • Failure to utilise tours or pre-booked arrangements due to airline delay,
  • Force Majeure or any other reason,
  • Medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover),
  • Loss or damage to personal property,
  • Additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered,
  • Medical expenses.

The organisers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be

purchased in your country of origin.

Code of conduct

The Host and Organiser of the Superannuation Lawyers’ Conference 2026 (the “Event”) reserve the right to remove from the venue/event at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid.
